The ‘Aadhaar Seva Kendra’ or ASK of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is a single stop destination for all Aadhaar services for the residents. The ASK will offer dedicated Aadhaar enrolment and update services to residents in a state-of-the-art environment.

CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV) has been engaged as a Registrar and Enrolment Agency by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on 29 November, 2019 to setup Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) across the country. These ASKs provide all the key Aadhaar services like Enrolment, Demographic Update, Biometric Update, e-Aadhaar Print, etc. to the residents.

CSC ASKs are equipped with 2-4 enrolment stations operated by certified and trained operating staff. The ASKs are “divyang” friendly and well equipped with all basic amenities ensuring walk-in citizen comfort.

Update Client Lite (UCL) is a Demographic Update Client/Software developed by UIDAI through which a resident can update his/her demographic details like Name, Address, Mobile, Email ID, etc. VLEs without enrollment machines can update resident’s “Aadhaar demographic” details through Digital Seva CSC portal. VLEs can avail of service using single finger print authentication device authorized by UIDAI. CSCs doing UCL can now support customers for Aadhaar updation. The citizens can visit nearest CSCs for this service.

E-KYC & Authentication

UIDAI has authorized CSC SPV to act as an Authentication/E-KYC User Agency (AUA/KUA) as well as Aadhaar Authentication/E-KYC Service Agency (ASA/KSA). Using the system of Authentication, CSC SPV builds and manages secure network connectivity to the Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR).

Aadhaar Card Printing

Printing of Aadhaar PVC Card through CSC Network was launched in 2015 by leveraging E-KYC to print PVC Aadhaar Cards. The service opened up a new avenue of income generation for the VLEs as there has been a growing demand for PVC Aadhaar Card.
